location:

  • Lessons are given at my studio, which is located at 740 N. 2800 W. Ogden, Utah 84404. For Directions on Google  - CLICK HERE

What do I need to know:

  • I play for all students, but we also use instrumental tracks in our lessons when needed. 
  • I use an online student portal which allows all students and parents 24/7 access to their music. Once lessons are scheduled, access will be give for full usage. ​​

WHAT TO BRING:

  • Students are expected to arrive on time and with all necessary materials. This may include sheet music, a recording device, water, notebook etc.
  • Students are highly encouraged to bring some kind of recording device to record lessons. These recordings are a great tool for practicing during the interim.

CANCELLATIONS:

  • For in-person lessons, if you make a cancellation within 4 hours of the lesson, you will get full credit for the lesson as well as priority re-scheduling.
  • If you make a cancellation less than 4 hours prior to the lesson, no lesson credit will be given for the lost lesson. I do however understand certain circumstances are beyond our control, and I will take each cancellation on a case by case basis. 
  • Virtual Lessons: If you cancel a lesson at least 2 hours prior to start of lesson, credit will be given. A no show or no contact will result in no make up credit given. 

ILLNESS:

  • Students should not come in for lessons if they are seriously ill or have been sick in the 24 hours prior to their lesson. Please contact me ASAP if you feel you will not be able to make your upcoming lesson, and we will make every attempt to re-schedule.
  • If you only feel a little bit under the weather - but feel you can still sing - contact me for a virtual lesson. It's an easy option! :)
  • Please be courteous to me and kind to yourself. If you can't speak, you can't sing.

PRICES/PAYMENTS:

PRICES AS OF SEPTEMBER 2023

New Student Consultation: No charge.
  • This is a basic assessment of skills and a brief opportunity to meet and get to know each other. Once this consultation is complete, access to the calendar will be given for scheduling. You can register for a new student consultation HERE! 

Pay-as-you-go drop in lesson:
  • $40 per hour for single lessons. These can be booked as a single lesson. CLICK HERE to register for a new student consultation and you will be contacted regarding scheduling. 

Regular Hourly Rate:
  • $30/hour with discount given as designated below. 

Discount lesson Block - One month lesson paid in advance: 
  • $100/ 4 one hour lessons per month. ($20 discount per month) if booked/paid in advance. 
  • $125/ 5 one hour lessons per month ($25 discount per month) if booked/paid in advance. 

All full monthly payments are required in advance for more than 1 lesson booked at a time.  Monthly invoices are sent on the 1st of each month for the following month.  Payment is expected at the end of the lesson for drop ins. 

​ All lessons can be paid the following ways:
  • Online booking with a credit/debit card prior to lessons beginning. Invoices are sent out on the 1st of the month. 
  • Stripe, Paypal with a credit card at vocalartzstudioz@gmail.com prior to first lesson to reserve lesson time.

  • Cash - must be paid on the first lesson of a block in order to get the discount, otherwise price is $30/lesson

**Unless you are an extreme beginner, I don't recommend 30 minute lessons. Generally, they aren't productive. If you are interested in 30 minute lessons, please contact me and we will discuss price.
